Staff Exchange Bulgaria and Malta

In the period 9 – 10 of June 2015 members from bulgarian partnersMunicipality of Plovdiv and Agriculture University-Plovdiv visited Malta to exchange practical experience and ideas in the field of regeneration and reuse of waste water. University of Malta was the host with the kind cooperation of Water ServicesCorporation.IMG 2805

The programe included visits to:Domestic Waste Treatment Plant and Sewage Treatment Plant, Sant’ Antnin,Sewage Treatment Plant,Ta’ Barkat, Xgħajra, Hydroponic farm, Renny Herbs and Salads, Żejtun, MBBR Plant at Dock 1, Bormla, Civic Amenity Site (CAS) in Ta’ Qali, Mġarr Farmers Cooperative Society Ltd, MORISO Project Site and Reverse Osmosis Plant, Pembroke, and finally Argotti Gardens , Valeta.

The team of MORISO project developers was invited to present its prototype on the exhibition of technologies for water management AQUATECH in Plovdiv International Fair in the period 28.09-03.10.2015 http://www.fair.bg/en/events/2015.htm

Bulgarian partners were impressed by the enthusiasm and the personal attitude put in their work by Prof. Buhagiar and his students at Argotti Botanical Gardens.The smallest space around was well looked after and utilized.
