Sustainable Water Treatment and Nutrient Reuse Options

SuWaNu project presented at AIWW

BIOAZUL and TTZ participated in the International Water Week in Amsterdam (AIWW) which took place on November 2nd-6th. The conference was focused on the topic ‘Integrated solutions for a circular economy and resilient cities’, counting with the participation of 1100 delegates im the water sector worldwide.  Also part of the AIWW was the Aquatech Exibition,  a trade fair for process, drinking and wastewater with more than 750 national and international exhibitors presenting their latest innovations, services and technologies around the theme of water.

BIOAZUL demostrated the main results of SuWaNu project during the conference via a presentation titled “Joint Action Plan for the reuse of waste water in agriculture in five EU countries”. Mr. Rafael Casielles, general coordinator of SuWaNu project, explained the strategies defined by the 5 SuWaNu regional clusters, followed by an active debate among the attendees about the use of alternative water resources in the context of water scarcity. TTZ, through Mr. Fabio Pereira, focused on expanding the SuWaNu network of partners, disseminating flyers and information about the project through direct contact to conference members  and to the technology providers in the The Aquatech Exibition.
